When we were in the title company last week
signing away our home, I was thinking....
maybe we shouldn't sell.
Maybe Mike should retire like he's
been promising me for the last 6 years.
Then, maybe we could stay in the old Victorian
(aka Vicky) we love so much, and not
have to relocate due to his job.
Maybe.
I feel sick today.
Maybe it's because we made a mistake?
Maybe it's because I ate my #6
from Mi Ranchito
(2 beef tacos, rice & beans) too fast?
Maybe I have a kink in my intestines???.....
Maybe I picked up something from the woman at
the title company that was coughing.....
Maybe.
Maybe I'll find happiness
in a new home that needs our love and care.
Maybe I just need some time??
Maybe

Hi Gayle,
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up. My guess is that you ate the #6 too fast after just making one of the biggest decisions of your life. I certainly hope it isn't that your intestines kinked, because that happened to me several years ago and the docs almost lost me. About farting, I think it's okay to say that on your blog because in reality your not saying it, your typing it.
Thank you for the sweet message you left for me tonight.
Hugs,
June
Hey Girl! I'm sorry I have been such a bad internet friend. I am going to add your blog to my blogroll so that I will not forget to come visit you. I haven't looked at blogs for a few days. i have got to get better about this!
ReplyDeleteVacations pics, yeah, must do that. I've been dragging my feet because my next post is the 200th and I have to get stuff together for the big giveaway!.
Hugs, B.
Gayle, I would think it is perfectly natural to be going through the range of emotions and thoughts you are experiencing over selling your beloved "Vicky." But then, what do I know? I've lived in the same house for 34 years! Ooooh, 34 years tomorrow, actually. If we were to sell/move at this point, I KNOW I would be a basket case...so many memories here.
ReplyDeleteTime...yes, I think you do need to give yourself a little time...and permission to grieve a bit. Once you actually start moving into the new house, decorating it with all the touches that will make it your "home," I'm sure you will feel better.
Hi Gayle! Oh, you're selling your home? I know you have those bittersweet feelings! But there will be another waiting for you!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh sweetie... I can't imagine how hard it's been for you. One day you'll find another home to rescue, it'll just take some time.
ReplyDeletehugs,
rue
PS Did Rich ever email you that info?
{{{{{{{{{{Gayle}}}}}}}}} I know you're sad, and I know you're scared too. But Colorado is beconning... calling your name! You're going to find something wonderful there, I just know it. How do I know it? Because it's what you deserve!
ReplyDeleteWhen will you actually move? I think you should leave something behind in the house, something that will be found some time in the future. It's always neat when someone renovates a house and finds hidden treasure!
Justine :o )
Btw... farting is always good.
What? A week and no post from Miss Gayle! Don't tell me you are going to be as bad as I am!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow the heck are you doing?
