UH OH.......Look what I found!!!

Just when I thought I'd never be excited about any
house again......look what I found!
Isn't it BEAUTIFUL??????

The Pookster is going to Colorado tomorrow
for business and he's going to take a closer look.

Here are a couple interior pictures which show the house
decor is dated, frilly, has dark green carpet throughout
and "goo-gahs" hanging and sitting upon every single
available surface in the house.

See, I told ya........dated.....frilly...
dark green carpet......major goo-gahs...lol

BUT, all the original mouldings and built-ins are still there
and that's all that really matters.

It's got 4 bedrooms, formal living,
formal dining and a den.
2 3/4 baths
garage, carport and shop

On paper it looks perfect!

Oh my, I've got goosebumps.
I think that's a sign.

I'll keep you posted.

  2. HI Gayle! Oh what a pretty house! I don't see a for sale sign!! But I'm supposing it's for sale. Now I love your word 'goo gahs'! Just might have to borrow it! :)
I know you could make this house gorgeous! Good luck!

  3. Gayle, it's beautiful! It has great curb appeal! I love the windows and those built-ins are fabulous! If you buy it, I am sure you will take advantage of all its great architectural details and make it gorgeous!

  4. Oh WOW!! Cute, cute, cute on the outside but oh lordy, I see some of the same issues here as I saw in those photos I sent you...80's hunter green carpet, wallpaper border etc...and it makes me laugh!

I hope this works out for you because I'm going to tell you the exact same thing you told me:

"The property is gorgeous and the house could be made just as gorgeous with your
vision and talent!!! If anybody could turn that around, you could."

We got a counter offer to which we counter-counter offered. And now we wait. Again.

  5. OMG! I was so thrilled to see your comment on my blog! I used to drool over the pictures of your gorgeous house on RMS & of course I'm so in love with Ziggy! We have 5 dogs and our cocker Murphy is 13 now. He's my very special big boy.
I've read all of your posts & I'm adding you to my blog list so I can visit. ☺ Diane

(You're right - Pookie does resemble Tyrone a bit - I think it's his beautiful eyes!)

  7. Hi Gayle,

I am a new visitor from Shari's blog. I love this house. I love Victorian style too, I have a lot of old pieces of furniture. It's hard to get rid of all the pink (mauve) lol! I'm working on it. Love your bathroom redo (earlier post).
